It all comes down to my endgame goals of contributing to the greater improvement of society, fulfilling personal curiosities I have about why people do the things they do, and advocating for the underprivileged.
I am deeply interested in the phenomena within the realm of psychology, especially in the I-O field. First and foremost, I find it incredibly fascinating to investigate the profound impact that individuals and organizations have on each other within the workplace along with the dynamics and work politics that occur in it. I-O psychology allows me to delve into the intricate complexities of human behavior, motivation, and productivity in professional settings. Furthermore, I am driven by the desire to foster positive change and improve work environments, especially within academia. College students of today tend to face complicated challenges in regard to mental health, complex interpersonal relationships, and fulfilling one's potential in this dynamic changing world.
By studying I-O psychology, I can acquire the knowledge and skills to develop effective interventions, strategies, and policies that enhance employee well-being, job satisfaction, and organizational performance. Ultimately, studying this social science grants me the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to individuals' professional lives and facilitate the creation of thriving and innovative workplaces.
